Detroit- Police have charged a teen in the three killings of 2 gay men, and a trans-woman.
Devon Robinson, 18, was arrested on Thursday for the May 25th shooting deaths of Alunte Davis, 21, Timothy Blancher, 20, who were both gay and Paris Cameron, 20, a transgender woman.
The shooting happened inside of a home. There were two other people who were shot, but luckily, they survived.
Prosecutors say that Robinson killed the three victims because they were gay. It’s unclear whether he knew the victims or not.
He’s been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder and five counts of using a firearm in connection with a felony.
I’m surprised he wasn’t charged with a hate crime..
