Teenager who killed classmate sentenced to life in prison; victim beheaded over girl

18-year-old Mathew Borges has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his former classmate back in 2016.

According to authorities, Borges stabbed 16-year-old Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino to death.

Borges didn’t stop there after killing Paulino. He then cut his head off and hands so that police wouldn’t be able to identify him.

His former classmates body was found along the banks of a river in December of 2016.

Borges killed Paulino in a jealous rage over a girl.

He will be eligible for parole 2046.
