A$AP Rocky is found guilty of assault in Sweden; here’s what the victim gets

SWEDEN- Harlem’s A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault in Sweden.

The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was found guilty on Wednesday, along with his two friends of assaulting a guy who was seen harassing A$AP and his crew in Stockholm.

But, wait..

A$AP Rocky will not be serving time or his co-defendants.

The Swedish court said in a statement “The assault has not been of such a serious nature that a prison sentence must be chosen” adding “The defendants are therefore sentenced to conditional sentences.”

Basically, A$AP, along with his two friends are free, but can’t get into any trouble for two years.

A$AP was ordered to pay the victim damages.

Despite A$AP Rocky saying he and his friends were defending themselves, the court said that they were “not in a situation where they were entitled to self-defence.”
