Rapper Meek Mill held a block party in his old neighborhood back in Philly and revealed something special.
The rapper, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, renovated the basketball courts right across the street from where he once lived in North Philly.
The court lit up like the smiles on the kids faces as they played ball with each other and Meek.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Meek kept his speech short and simple by telling the crowd “Let’s keep this short. It’s hot out here.”
A spokesperson said that this idea began when Meek began thinking of another way to give back to his community.
