‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ star Nene Leakes opens up about being depressed, and even taking meds for it while taking care of her husband.
The reality tv star told Hollywood Life how she felt overwhelmed taking care of her husband Gregg Leakes as he was battling cancer.
Nene told Hollywood Life, “Being a caretaker and doing something like caring for someone with cancer for the first time in my life, then to have to be the breadwinner for everything, it’s a lot.”
She was eventually diagnosed and treated for depression, something she says she didn’t know about.
Many felt as if Nene was too self indulgent, and should’ve been worrying more about Gregg in the time he was possibly facing death with his cancer. Luckily, he’s doing great now.
