FLORIDA- Google Earth helped solve a 22-year-old mystery when a man spotted a vehicle inside of a lake, and it belonged to man that went missing.
On Aug 28th, a resident from Lake Worth spotted the vehicle inside the lake when he began to look at images in his neighborhood. After spotting what he saw, he contacted the owner of the complex where the lake was, and he called the police.
When police arrived they lifted the 1994 Saturn SL out of the lake, and after smashing the driver’s window, they discovered human remains.
Those remains belonged to 40-year-old William Earl Moldt, who went missing on Nov 7th after leaving a nightclub and telling his then girlfriend that he was on his way home.
It’s unsure how his car drove off into the lake, but he did have several drinks at the club he was at, and wasn’t a frequent drinker.
I’m assuming he probably had too many drinks, and accidently drove into the lake.
I know his family must finally be at peace..
