NEW YORK- Russell Simmons has been banned from his former Yoga studio amid his sexual misconduct and rape allegations.
According to Page Six, on Thursday the Hip-Hop mogul received an email from Modo Yoga stating that basically his presence is not sitting well with the women at the studio and he’s no longer wanted there.
Simmons told Page Six from Bali “The management invited me, and then said that my presence had ‘triggered some members’.
He was attending the studio for the past several weeks when he was in the states.
The owners of the studio said “We do not pass judgment, gossip or comment on any of our students . . . However, when we receive complaints from students who are uncomfortable because of another student’s alleged conduct outside of Modo, we are put in a difficult position.”
Simmons has been hiding out in Bali for the past year since having 12 sexual misconduct accusations piled up against him.
One woman says that Simmons allegedly raped her back in 1988.
