Rapper Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri has been sentenced to prison on weapons charges.
The 22-year-old Florida rapper was sentenced to more than three years in prison after pleading guilty in August to making false statements in order for him to purchase firearms.
Kodak could have been sentenced to 10 years in prison, but the judge sentenced him to 46 months in prison, and when he’s released, he’ll be on supervised release.
The troubled rapper doesn’t stay free for too long as he was arrested in April on gun and drug charges when he was busted near Niagara Fall, New York while trying to enter Canada. Then, he in May he was arrested in May at the The Rolling Loud music fest on federal and state weapons charges.
