ALABAMA- According to WJXT, police say the remains of a missing 5-year-old girl have been found in Alabama after she reported missing from Florida.
Police say that DNA analysis confirms the remains belong to 5-year-old Taylor Rose Williams, who’s mother reported her missing on Nov. 6 in Florida. The girls remains were found in her mothers hometown in Alabama.
27-year-old Brianna Williams told police that she had put Taylor to sleep at around 12:oo a.m., and when she awoke, her daughter was gone. She also said that the backdoor to their home was open.
Police will not say how the little girl died.
Williams stopped cooperating with police after they began noticing inconsistency in her stories. She also attempted to commit suicide afterwards by taking some pills.
Williams, a petty officer in the Navy, is being charged with child neglect and giving false information to police, but she hasn’t been charged in connection to her daughters death.
