3-year-old Kamille McKinney was given meth before she was murdered

ALABAMA- An autopsy revealed that 3-year-old Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney was given methamphetamine and a sedative before she was murdered.

McKinney went missing from a birthday party on Oct. 12, and her decomposing body was found about a week later inside of a dumpster. She was left unattended with another child at a playground when she was kidnapped by a couple.

According to WBMA, prosecutors stated in court on Tuesday that Patrick Stallworth, 39, and his girlfriend Derick Brown, 29, lured McKinney away from the party with candy.

A 10-year-old girl who was attending the same party told police that she witnessed Stallworth and Brown inside of an SUV, with McKinney inside crying.

Another girl who attends middle school told police that Stallworth and Brown offered her candy as she was leaving cheerleading practice.

Video surveillance from a local store showed Stallworth buying $18 of candy, and a pill for sexual dysfunction at another store…

A detective testified that Stallworth told him he first saw McKinney when he came home, and saw her sitting down on his couch with his girlfriend. He says that Brown told him she wanted to “keep” McKinney and asked him to sexually abuse her.

Stallworth said he went outside to smoke a cigarette, and when he returned, Brown had put her hands over McKinney’s mouth and killed her.

Authorities believe say that they gave her Trazodone, which is an anti-depressant used to treat insomnia, because test show that she ingested the drug.

McKinney’s cause of death was asphyxiation, and they’re not sure if she was sexually abused because her body was so badly decomposed.
