YG on stage with Austin

Teenager kicked off stage by YG for refusing to say “F*** Donald Trump” says “You put a target on my back”

The teenage boy who rapper YG kicked off stage for refusing to say “Fuck Donald Trump” has spoken out since the incident happened, which was last year.

19-year-old Austin Joyner took to his social media, writing “Most of the crowd raised their fingers and sang the song along with YG. All I did was stop there. I didn’t want to introduce myself that way. I never mentioned anything about politics at the festival.”

“As Americans, we have freedom of expression, and although I disagree with YG’s hatred of President Trump, as a citizen, he is allowed to say what he wants. However, he crossed a line when he caught my attention for not singing and I tried to humble myself and get the whole crowd to turn against me in a threatening way. ”

Austin says that the west coast rapper put his safety at risk and a target on his back.

Now, as you read, Austin seems to be a Trump supporter because he clearly wrote that he doesn’t agree with YG’s hatred towards Trump, so my question is why would you show up to the festival knowing this?
For the past year or so, YG has been targeting only white males at his shows, pulling them up on stage, asking them to first give their government name to the crowd, and then he tells them to say ‘Fuck Donald Trump”. If they don’t, he makes the crowd go against the person while he kicks them off the stage.
I think YG can go about expressing his hatred towards Trump without humiliating a bunch of young white kids who paid money to see him perform, and just wanna have fun WITHOUT the politics..
