Rapper Pop Smoke charged with stealing $375,000 Rolls-Royce he borrowed; faces years in prison

NEW YORK CITY- Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke has been charged with stealing a Rolls-Royce from Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old rising rapper was arrested on Friday at Kennedy International Airport after returning from Paris Fashion Week. He was actually set to perform at a concert before getting arrested.

According to Los Angeles authorities, Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Jackson, borrowed the car for a music video and afterwards they believe he sent the black 2019 Roll-Royce to NY in a flatbed truck.

He even had the nerve to post a photo of the pricey car on his Instagram, which has been now deleted.

Pop Smoke been charged with interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to the charge. He returns to court on Feb. 3.

He;s facing up to 10 in prison.
