CHICAGO- 30-year-old Qaw’mane Wilson was convicted on Friday for hiring a hitman to murder his mother.
Wilson, who’s goes by Young QC was sentenced to 100 years in prison, along with hitman Eugene Spencer, who was also sentenced to 100 years in prison.
According to BBC, a Cook County judge told the courtroom “Whatever he wanted, his mother gave to him. A car. A job. One could say he was spoiled. She gave Qaw’mane life, and it was his choice to take it away from her.”
Wilson ordered Spencer to go inside of his mother’s home and shot her to death.
Yolanda Holmes was killed on 2012.
After Wilson had his own mother murdered, he withdrew money from her bank account, to customize his Mustang, and even threw some of HER money at fans who attended one of his shows.
Before sentencing Wilson, the judge told the courtroom “Whatever he wanted, his mother gave to him. A car. A job. One could say he was spoiled. She gave Qaw’mane life, and it was his choice to take it away from her.”
When the judge asked Wilson if he had anything to say before his sentence was handed down, Wilson had the audacity to tell the judge “I just want to say, nobody loved my mother more than me. She was all I had. That’s it.”
