Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is being sued over his hit song ‘Stoopid’.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, rapper Yung Gordon is suing Tekashi, Tay Keith and Create Music Group for copyright infringement.
According to Yung Gordon, he say’s that he was contacted by Take Money Entertainment, who asked him if he could provide them with a “radio drop”, which is basically a short clip of music that’s played on the radio to show that an artist is affiliated with a promoter and/or a radio station.
The lawsuit claims that Yung Gordon provided Take Money Entertainment with radio drops, written and performed by him. They were were 9 seconds long, with the lyrics “Y’all already know, it be the boy Yung Gordon / You rockin with Take Money Promotions / Ay Take Money Promotions / Give ’em that new shit, no fool shit/ Oh Yeah, let’s go.”
Gordon is claiming that Take Money Entertainment had a relationship with Tekashi, who then took the ‘radio drop’ and made his hit song ‘Stoopid.’
