I’m sad to report that 5-year-old Faye Marie Swetlik, who had been missing since Monday, has been found dead and she wasn’t alone.
Faye’s body was found on Thursday according to the Director of the Cayce Department of Public Safety. Along with her body, authorities also found the body of a deceased male next to Faye’s body.
Police are also investigating the case of the deceased male found next to her, who is believed to not be the suspect, but another victim.
The Lexington Coroner’s office confirmed that the body was unfortunately Faye’s and her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Faye went missing on Monday, after getting off of her school bus around 3 p.m. while playing on her lawn..
Truly sad..
