CALIFORNIA- Vanessa Bryant has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company that owned the helicopter, which killed 9 people, that included Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.
According to TMZ, Vanessa is claiming that the helicopter should’ve never took flight due to the foggy weather, and the pilot was flying 180 miles per hour.
The lawsuit also claims that the pilot failed to properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff, failed to abort the flight when he knew of the cloudy condition, failed to maintain control of the helicopter and failed to avoid “natural obstacles” in the flight path.
The lawsuit also says that the pilot, Ara George Zobayan, was disciplined back in 2015 for violating the visual flight rule minimums by flying into an airspace of reduced visibility.
