NASSAU COUNTY- An inmate has tested positive for the Coronavirus at the Nassau county jail.
According to Pix11, the inmate has been transferred to a local Hospital, where he is being isolated and treated.
The inmate came into the jail on March 6th and began showing symptoms on March 12th.
The Health Dept has been investigating and working around the clock to track down other inmates who came into contact with the patient, as well as the employees at the jail.
