According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Rich The Kid was sued by by Blueprint Artist Management back in Feb, accusing him of owing them $3.5 million.
According to them, they’ve served Rich The Kid with their legal documents, but he has failed to show up in court.
In new documents that have been filed by the management company, they’re asking a court to award them a default judgement of $1,617,958.
The management company says the rapper signed with them in 2017 and as part of his deal, he was supposed to pay his manager 20% of his gross income, but he allegedly didn’t do that.
They say he refused to pay them $960,000 in commission, plus an additional $500,000 on a contract clause.
They said they’ve been asking him for the money, but he’s refused to pay them back.
