A Pop Smoke documentary in the works.
In an interview with Complex, the late rapper’s manger Steven Victor said “I’m working really, really hard on this Pop Smoke album. And I’m working on a documentary for him, too. And his foundation.”
50 Cent will be executive producing Pop Smoke’s album.
Pop Smoke looked up to 50 Cent.
Two weeks before Pop Smoke was murdered, he said that he wanted to make a documentary about his life that would show how the NYPD were targeting him because of his music, drill music in Brooklyn and his life.
20-year-old Pop Smoke, whose real name is Bashar Jackson, was murdered on Feb. 19th in Hollywood Hills, California by three masked men who invaded the home he was renting with a few of his friends.
Authorities say that they have no leads because nobody wants to talk, and the witnesses that have spoken to them, have allegedly changed their stories or lied.
