(Update) Dismembered remains of Dystynee Avery found in landfill

MINNESOTA- Dystynee Avery’s dismembered remains were found in a landfill, and according to a press conference and other news outlets.

She went missing in early April. Her friend, whom she was living with, Ethan Broad, was arrested on April 17th. He later admitted to getting into an argument with Avery, killing and dismembering her body. He was charged with suspicion of second-degree murder. He says he was allegedly acting in self defense.

Police arrested 3 other people in connection to Avery’s murder. Andrea Payne, David Erno and Brandon Erbstoesser. Erno and Payne were arrested on suspicion of a felony aiding an offender in second-degree murder.

According to Valley News Live, Payne allegedly told police that she was at the home when Avery was killed. She said that she saw Broad arguing with Avery, which was followed by the sound of a loud thump.

Payne allegedly told police that she Broad hit Avery on the head with a lead pipe, and that’s when she left the home without contacting police. She added that when she returned to the home, Erno was allegedly there.

Erno was arrested on suspicion of accessory to murder.
