A 27-year-old man been charged with the murder of his girlfriend’s son.
According to Yamikaherald.com, Terrance Chip Ogle was charged in court on Friday with second-degree murder.
Authorities responded to a call on April 27th about a toddler that was unresponsive. When they arrived at the residence, they found 15-month-old Alexander Lynch unconscious and unresponsive. It was also reported that he was blue from not having enough oxygen.
When taken to the Hospital, Lynch later died. The medical examiner’s says the toddler had fractures on his body, along with bruising, both old and new all over his body.
Ogle told police that the victim had fell from an ottoman in the living room, which is not true according to the toddler’s injuries. He also stories for the older injuries.
The medical examiner’s officer ruled Lynch’s death as homicide from blunt force trauma.
The boy’s mother say’s that the last time she saw her son alive, was when she put him to sleep. She hasn’t been charged.
