UPDATE: According to authorities, Gaspard told lifeguards to save his son instead before a current came and washed him away.
CALIFORNIA- WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard’s body has been found after he went missing in the water’s of Venice Beach.
Gaspard’s body washed ashore on a Venice beach Wednesday morning and was found by someone who was taking a stroll on the beach. The person immediately contacted authorities.
Gaspard, 39, went missing on Sunday after he went for a swim with his 10-year-old son. A rip current came and it separated both of them.
The wrestler was last seen by a lifeguard according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and then “he was swept out to sea.”
Lifeguards were able to save his son’s life, but Gaspard went missing.
