UTAH- A man has been arrested for allegedly killing his Tinder date.
According to a press conference, police were dispatched to a residence on Sunday around 3 a.m. because Ethan Hunsaker,24, had told them he had killed someone in his home and asked police to shoot and kill him.
Police found a 25-year-old woman with stab wounds to her body inside of Hunsaker’s home. The victim couldn’t be revived and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Hunsaker told police that he met the woman on Tinder, they went to a bar, and when arriving at his home, he admitted to police that he began strangling her in an attempt to kill her. When that failed, Hunsaker stabbed the victim multiple times.
There seems to be no motive as Hunsaker told investigators that their date even was normal.
Hunsaker has been charged with first-degree and no bond.
