Man who used bow & arrow on protesters faces felony charges

UTAH- A man who pulled out his bow & arrow is now facing felony charges.

Brandon E. McCormick, 57, an ex-con with a history of arrests that include battery of a public safety officer, was charged with two counts of possession or use of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and one count of aggravated assault.

Each charge carries a 5 year sentence.

McCormick also brandished a knife.

After protester’s defended themselves from a crazed man, McCormick then made himself to look like a victim when a local reporter interviewed him. He said the reason why he pulled out his bow & arrows is because he was “protecting” the police.

He then told a local reporter “I just heard people yelling ‘Black Lives Matter!’ That does irritate me.… I just feel like “All Lives Matter.”
