TEXAS- A mother has been arrested in connection to her sons death after telling police he went missing.
On June 1st, police were responding to a call about a missing toddler after Laura Sanchez told them that her son Frankie Gonzalez has disappeared from a bathroom at a park.
According to KXXV, police searched for hours, until the following day, when the body of Frankie Gonzalez was found in a dumpster behind a church.
Investigators discovered that the story that Laura Sanchez told them about her son going missing from a park was fake because she never took him to the park.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with first-degree felony injury to a child. Investigators are waiting on her sons autopsy report to upgrade her charges.
