CALIFORNIA- A man has been arrested by police after being accused of allegedly feeding homeless people food with poison and recording it.
According to the Orange County Register, 38-year-old- William Robert Cable told the victims that they were participating in a “spicy food challenge” back in May.
Cable gave the victims food that was laced with a caustic substance that’s found in Chillie’s. The homeless folks who were tricked into this fake challenge were even offered beer by Cable.
The victims were recorded as they were they allegedly coughing and allegedly having difficulty breathing. The victims were taken to a local Hospital after suffering severe stomach pains, difficulty breathing and seizure-like symptoms.
Cable was arrested and charged with eight counts of poisoning and faces a maximum 19 years in prison and three months. He’s being held on $500,000 bail according to The New York Post.
