ATLANTA- Officer Garret Rolfe has been fired after the killing of Rayshard Brooks.
The news was announced on Sunday about Rolfe’s firing.
Atlanta’s police chief Erika Shields resigned the day after Brooks was killed.
Police bodycam clearly shows Brooks was shot in his back after resisting arrest and running away from the police with a taser he had taken from one of the officer’s.
The officer that was fired had been working at his dept. since 2013.
The killing of yet AGAIN, another unarmed black man has caused outrage in Atlanta. The Wendy’s where Brooks was parked at has been burned down.
Today I posted the aftermath, which showed folks sweeping and helping in cleaning up what was left from the fire.
