Woman beat parents to death with crowbar over drugs

NEVADA- A woman who beat both of her parents to death with a crowbar has been sentenced to prison.

Alexis Cynthia Alegria, 31, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and one count of first-degree arson for the deaths of her parents Jami Alegria, 58 and Victor Alegria, 61 in Oct of 2018.

This according to People.

Alegria was caught by her parents huffing paint in their garage. They told her to stop, and that’s when an altercation erupted.

Alegria took a crowbar, stabbed her father in the head, beat him and her mother to death. After killing her parents, she then set the home on fire. She was also heard telling brother that she killed her parents during a phone call from inside jail.

Alegria pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and arson. She was sentenced to 2 life sentences, and 5-15 years for arson.
