A$AP Rocky & Former Pal A$AP Relli Reach Deal To Pause Lawsuit Over Alleged 2021 Shooting

CALIFORNIA- Rapper A$AP Rocky and his former friend, rapper A$AP Relli, have decided to put a pause on the lawsuit which accuses Rocky of allegedly shooting Relli.

According to court documents, the Harlem rapper and Relli informed the court that they have decided to not go forward with the lawsuit, until Rocky’s criminal case is over, reports Radar Online.

Both parties explained that if the case were to move ahead, Rocky would have to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination or risk making statements that could be used against the Harlem rapper in the criminal prosecution.

A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Meyers, was charged two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Rocky is accused of allegedly shooting Relli after an argument in 2021.

In the suit, Relli claims the rapper shot at him, striking him in the leg after he invited Rocky over to his home and the two got into an argument.

The suit claims that Relli “continues to suffer physical, mental and emotional injuries. The suit demands unspecified damages for his suffering and pain and medical bills.
