CONN- A judge has ordered the re-arrest of Dennis Hernandez, the brother to the late Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez failed to show up at court to face charges for allegedly throwing a rock at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, according to FOX News.
He’s accused of using a ride-share to travel to ESPN headquarters where he allegedly threw a brick over a fence. Dennis, also known as DJ, was arrested and charged.
A bag that contained a note was attached to the brick.
The note read “To all media outlets, It’s about time you all realeyes (sic) the affect media has on all family members.”
“Since you’re a worldwide leader maybe you could lead how media and messages are delivered brick by brick. Clean it up! Yours truly, Dennis J. Hernandez,” FOX News reports.
Hernandez was scheduled to enter a plea on Friday.
Hernandez was a wide receiver and quarterback at UConn about a decade ago.
His brother, Aaron Hernandez, played for the New England Patriots for three seasons before he committed suicide in 2017 inside of a prison cell after he was found guilty of murder.
