Actor Johnathan Majors has avoided serving jail time in his domestic violence case after a conviction in New York.
Manhattan Criminal Court judge Micheal Gaffey ordered Majors to complete a 52-week in-person batterers intervention in Los Angeles, to stay away from the victim, his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari and continue mental health counseling.
The judge decided that jail time for the Marvel actor “is not necessary.”
Majors was facing a max sentence of 364 days in jail.
His ex-Jabbari said in a victim release statement that Majors “remains a danger to others.”
Majors quickly moved on and has been dating actress Meagan Good, who was by his side in court today.
