GOERGIA- Wanda Cooper-Jones, whose son, Ahmaud Arbery, was shot and killed, says she doesn’t think that she’ll ever be able to watch the cellphone footage, which shows her son being murdered in cold blood.
Ahmaud Arbery was seen on cellphone video, jogging back in Feb. as 1 out of 2 white males are seen by witnesses and on video, blocking him from entering thru one path. Another white male then exits a truck, and an argument escalated between the men, resulting in Arbery being killed.
During the argument, Arbery was seen struggling with a shotgun that one of the men had. A gunshot was heard in the 28 second video, and then Arbery was seen stumbling on video before falling to the ground.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be in a mental state where I can actually watch the video”, Cooper-Jones told ABC’s “Good Morning America”, adding “I had others that watched it that shared what they saw and that just was enough.”
Gregory McMichael and his son Travis McMichael told police that they thought Arbery was a burger. Now, here’s the twist to this story.
Gregory McMichael happens to be a retired investigator for the local district attorney’s office. What a coincidence.. This makes Arbery’s mother more suspicious that there may be a cover-up for these two men who should be behind bars for her son’s murder.
Arbery’s mother has lawyered up, and her family are demanding answer’s about her son’s death and why these two men aren’t in jail for shooting an killing an unarmed black man who was simply jogging, and not harming anyone.
