ATLANTA- Singer Akon’s SUV was stolen from an Atlanta gas station Monday night.
Police say they were called to a gas station before midnight for a vehicle theft. When they arrived, Akon, whose real name is Aliaune Thiam, told them that he had left his 2020 Range Rover running as he went inside of a gas station when someone got inside and drove off, reports WSBTV.
Akon told police that he used the “Find my iPhone” app because his phone was left inside and his SUV’s location was Forest Park.
According to WSBTV, Akon had some pricey items in his SUV, which included a $25,000 diamond necklace and thousands of dollars worth of Louis Vuitton luggage.
