Alabama Police Issue Arrest Warrants In Riverfront Brawl Caught On Video

ALABAMA- Alabama police have issued four arrest warrants in connection to the riverfront brawl where a group of men were seen attacking a dock worker.

Police say more warrants could be issued after authorities review more footage from the massive brawl that has gone viral.

Several people were detained Sunday and charges are pending.

The fight was caught on cellphone footage on Saturday around 7 p.m. at the Riverfront Park.

Video shows a crew member of a city-operated riverboat trying to get a pontoon boat moved that was blocking the riverfront from docking before a man is seen shoving the crew member and taking his cap off.

Several other men were seen attacking the worker, punching and kicking him to the ground.

One person is heard “Help the brother!”.

Soon afterwards, a man is seen swimming to the dock to help the worker being attacked by the group.

Another group of several shirtless men, seemingly angered, pulled the attackers off of the employee, who is then seen standing up on his own before he walks down the dock.

The suspects named in the warrants haven’t been identified.
