American Airlines made woman change her ‘Hail Satan’ shirt

FLORIDA- According to Buzzfeed, 49-year-old Swati Runi Goyal was flying from Key West to Las Vegas the day before Halloween wearing a shirt that read “HAIL SATAN” when she was asked by a flight attendant to change her shirt.

Goval says the flight attendant told her that if she didn’t change her shirt, she would have to get off the plane. American Airlines even delayed the flight according to the passenger while she changed into another shirt.

Goval told The Post “The gentleman asked me if I understood what ‘offensive’ meant, I said, ‘I’m a foreign-born minority woman. I know what my T-shirt means and my T-shirt is not offensive.”

She added “I’m really trying to make some good deeds come out of this. This is really about religious discrimination,” she said. “Because they treated me this way, I can only imagine how they’re treating other religious groups like Muslims.”

The woman says that although she is a member of a Satanic church, she’s vegan because she believes in “kindness to all creatures.”

According to American Airlines, passengers are required to “avoid offensive clothing.”

They reached out to Goval and have offered to refund her money back.
