Ariana Grande who just dropped her album “Sweetener” & recently got engaged to Pete Davidson from “Saturday Night Live” stopped by a radio station for her promo run and broke down crying.
Ebro Darden from Beats 1 Radio & New York’s Hot 97 asked Ariana about her track “Get well soon” and the singer with tears in her eyes explained that the song is about the Manchester bombing and said “It’s just about being there for each other and helping each other through scary times and anxiety.”
Ariana went on to tell Ebro that she “wanted to do something to make people feel good.” The Manchester bombing took place at one of Ariana Grande’s concert back in May of 2017, where a suicide bomber decided to take the lives of innocent people. He killed himself, along with 23 people and injured 139 people that included children.
The track “Get Well Soon” totals in 5 minutes and 22 seconds, which stands for the date the bombing took place, May 22nd. There is also 40 seconds of silence for the victims.
