LAS VEGAS – The suspect charged in Tupac’s murder had his arraignment delayed again because his legal representation isn’t settled.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis, charged with murder in the death of rapper Tupac Shakur, did not enter a plea in court Thursday morning, according to reports.
Davis’ new attorney, Ross Goodman, asked the court for a two-week delay to confirm counsel.
Judge Tierra Jones, said that if Goodman and Davis are not ready by November 2, she will appoint a public defender.
This is the second time Davis’ arraignment has been delayed because of lack of representation.
Davis is accused of participating in the drive-by shooting that killed Tupac in 1996.
There were other suspects and persons of interest, but they are all deceased, except for Davis, who has bragged about his role in the deadly shooting for years.
