FLORIDA – An aspiring female rapper is accused of fatally shooting her manager before she was hit by a car, police said.
Shocking video footage from the incident allegedly shows when Kevhani Camilla Hicks, 27, opened fire on two men, who moments before they had pinned her down to the ground moments.
Hicks, who goes by Key Vhani is seen on video arguing with her manager, who hasn’t been identified, before a second man joins them and both men began pushing Hicks down to the ground where she was pinned.
Hicks is seen walking away before she opens fire.
Her manager was hiding behind a parked car for safety, when Hicks walked up to him and shot him again as someone behind the wheel of a white car runs her over.
Police arrived at the scene and found her manager dead with several gunshot wounds and Hicks was hospitalized for blunt force injuries.
Hicks told police that she shot at both men because she feared for her safety.
She’s being held on $50,000 bond has been charged with second-degree murder.
