Aspiring Rapper’s Body Found Inside Barrel That Washed Up On California Shore

CALIFORNIA- The body of an inspiring rapper was found inside of a barrel after washing up on the Malibu Lagoon State Beach.

Javonnta Murphy, 32, was found dead in a 55-gallon drum on Monday, according to KTLA.

A lifeguard saw the barrel and swam out to drag it to shore. Police say he opened the barrel and discovered Murphy’s naked body, police said, the station reported.

Police said Murphy’s body wasn’t inside of the barrel for very long.

There have been no arrests.
