NEW ORLEANS- Police are investigating a fire that happened in a home owned by Jay-Z and Beyoncé as a possible arson.
According to TMZ, a smoke alarm alerted authorities that there was a one-alarm fire inside of the home on Wednesday. Police say that witnesses also remember seeing a suspicious person in the neighborhood around the time of the fire.
No one was injured.
Authorities believe that the small fire started in the kitchen. A gasoline can was found and there were books inside of an oven…
Beyoncé brought the home, which was originally a church and then a ballet school, in 2015, NOLA reports.
