Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson, who died last week died from a deadly combination of drugs, authorities said Friday.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said the 26-year-old died from “combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine”.
The office also determined that Ferguson’s manner of death was an accident.
On June 21, Baltimore police responded to a report of a questionable death and found Ferguson “unresponsive”. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
