BATON ROUGE- A judge has ordered the Baton Rouge police department to return $47,000 that was seized from rapper NBA Youngboy, when he and 15 other people were arrested while filming a music video in Sept.
A judge signed the order on Thursday to have the money returned to the 21-year-old Baton Rouge rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, reported theadvocate.com.
Police say they received several anonymous complaints on Sept. 28 about people with guns in an abandoned parking lot.
Police went to the address given, and found members of “Never Broke Again” and “Bottom Boy Gorilla, which police labeled as gangs, filming a music video.
14 guns, drugs and a large amount of money were seized by authorities. One of the guns were reportedly stolen.
