MIAMI- Beyonce and Jay-Z kept seated during Sunday’s Superbowl LIV as Demi Lovato brought down the house as she sang the national anthem, and people are pretty pissed off.
TMZ posted the video of the couple at the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Chiefs were playing against the 49ers.
Check out these tweets from people who aren’t so happy with the couple for staying seated:
Listen Up Beyonce and Jay-Z!!
You don’t think it’s necessary to stand for our Anthem and our Flag!?
Countless lives have been lost defending that Flag so people like YOU can attend events like the Super Bowl in peace.
You should be EMBARRASSED for yourselves. What a disgrace.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z (former crack dealer)sit for the national anthem because apparently the United States of America has oppressed them with millions upon millions of dollars & fans. Sounds rough. Maybe they should try another country that allows them a little more freedom & success?

Jay-Z came under fire last year, after he announced that Roc Nation (which he owns) had partnered with the NFL for social activism and events. Many in the black community felt as if Jay was stabbing Colin Kaepernick in the back, despite saying that he supported what he what doing.
Jay-Z was actually a co-producer of Sunday’s half-time show that featured none other than J.Lo and Shakira, who showed others how a half-time show is done, while making history as the first Latina’s to headline.
Was Beyonce and Jay-Z being disrespectful to the flag? Or were they sending a clear message..
By the way, congrats to the Chiefs for winning their first time winning a superbowl. They beat the 49ers, 31-50.
