FLORIDA- The body of a woman found in Florida last week has been identified as a missing 18-year-old pregnant girl.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s confirmed the body to be 18-year-old Jalajhia Finklea from Boston, who was reported missing on October 20.
An autopsy revealed that Finklea’s cause of death was two gunshot wounds.
Finklea was last seen getting inside of 37-year-old Luis Zaragoza’s car.
Zaragoza killed himself after a US Task force attempted to arrested him on November 5.
Police say that Zaragoza left a note on his phone, which explained why he had killed Finklea. In the note, Zaragoza wrote that he killed Finklea on Oct. 20 after she got into his car because he “snapped” due to his depression.
Zaragoza went on to type that ‘she is gone” and provided details to where the teen could be found. This information led police to find Finklea’s body.
