MIAMI- The body of an aspiring rapper, was found in the trunk of his friends car.
Police discovered the remains of missing 25-year-old Brian Trotter, inside of an Acura, which had a foul smell coming from the trunk, on Sunday afternoon, The Miami Herald reports.
The car, belonging to Trotter’s friend, Robert Avery Coltrain, has crashed on an expressway.
Trotter, who went by the rap name “Kent Won’t Stop,” was found wrapped in a “piece of fabric” in an “advanced stage of decomposition”.
Trotter vanished on Oct. 17, after he was picked up by Coltrain from his home. The men were supposed to drive to Washington, so they could take pictures, but Trotter never returned home.
A missing persons report was filed, and his family also contacted Coltrain, who gave them conflicting stories about where Trotter was.
Police found a Glock .45 pistol, which they believe was used to kill Trotter.
Coltrian has been charged with second-degree murder and illegal transport of human remains.
Police don’t have a motive for Trotter’s murder.
