LOS ANGLES- The Aventura Sheriff’s Dept. has confirmed that the body pulled from Lake Piru on Monday morning is that of missing ‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera.
Police said in the conference “There was no indication of foul play, and no indication this was a suicide”.
The 33-year-old actress went missing last Thursday after she rented a pontoon for she and her 4-year-old son.
Her son was found alone in their boat sleeping by another boater.
According to police, her son told them that he was swimming with his mother, swam back to the boat, but doesn’t know what happened to his mother.
Rivera’s body happened to be discovered on the same day that her fellow ‘Glee’ co-star Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson, died after a combo of heroin and alcohol.
In 2016, Rivera’s other co-star Mark Salling, killed himself in jail after he was convicted for possession of child pornography.
