Boxer Gervonta Davis is being accused by a well known jeweler of bailing out of a $50,000 bill.
According to Elliot Buryev, from Eliantte & Co., whose clients range from reality T.V. stars like the Kardashians to rapper’s like Lil Wayne, is suing the WBA lightweight champion, for almost half a million dollars.
Buryev says Davis ordered three custom pieces back in Nov., and had him fly the jewelry out to Los Angeles.
The Manhattan jeweler claims that once in Los Angeles, Davis handed him a $486,671.25 check for a tennis chain, a watch with diamond baguettes and a tank chain, which is the boxer’s nickname.
Well, the checked bounced. Buryev claims in court documents that Davis promised to make payments to him, but never did.
This is not the first that the boxer has allegedly bailed on a bill for his jewelry. Davis was also accused of skipping on a $250,000 payment to Shyne Jewelry in Philly.
