Gervonta Davis Says Judge Is “Crazy” In Jail Call After 90-Sentence For Violating Terms Of House Arrest

Boxer Gervonta Davis has spoken out from behind bars after being ordered to finish his 90-day sentence in jail for violating the terms of his arrest.

Davis, 28, was taken into custody on Thursday just a month after he was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest for a hit-and-run incident stemming from November, reports The Baltimore Banner.

In a jail recording posted on Instagram, the boxer says “I just want to let the people know that this judge is crazy. I did everything in my power to listen to my lawyers,” he said.

Davis continued to say that he feels the judge is taking advantage of his situation. ‘She’s mad that I brought a property, that’s why I’m sitting in jail.”

The troubled boxer must now serve the remainder of his 90-day sentence in jail.

Davis was facing 7 years in prison after being charged with 14 counts.

He was charged with failing to report an accident, driving with a suspended/revoked license and failure to stop at a red light and four counts of failing to return and remain at the scene of an accident involving a bodily injury.

Davis plead guilty to four traffic violations in February. He was also ordered to serve 200 hours of community service.
