SOUTH CAROLINA- A 14-year-old boy was found dead inside of a hotel room with his mother, a week after his presumed death, officials say.
Police found the deceased teen, identified as Landon Chance Poston, at the InTown Suites hotel with his “incoherent” mother after responding to a 911 call, according to Fox News.
His mother was taken to a hospital.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office sated in a media release that there were no obvious signs of physical injury found” on Poston, adding that his date of death is estimated to be Nov. 24, 2022, and his autopsy was performed on Poston on Nov. 22, 2022, according to Fox News.
It’s unclear if Poston suffered had any medical conditions.
His manner and cause of death is also not being released at this time.
There is an active investigation.
