ORLANDO- A teenage boy is dead after falling to his death Thursday night at the Orlando FreeFall ride at Icon Park, police said.
The 14-year-old boy was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The boy was identified as Tyre Sampson.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina said Sampson had been strapped in with a large locking device, but he wasn’t aware he had to wear a seatbelt.
Video shows Sampson slipping from his seat before he fell.
